The present project is meant to last one school year.
Age of students: - 12-13 Subjects: Biology , Natural Science, Environmental Education, Citizenship, Foreign Languages. Tools: email, software (Powerpoint, video, photos, drawings), Web edition, TwinSpace, Video conference.
Objectives: improve the competence in knowledge and interaction with the physical mean.
To meet students from other parts of Europe.
To improve the linguistic competence in a foreign language (English) using a CLIL methodology. Linguistic competence and the use of English in new situations in the class (videoconference, chats, etc) will be notably improved.
Work process: We'll work from September, 2015 till the end of the course (June, 2016). 1) At first, pupils will exchange information introducing themselves, talking about their schools and hometowns, villages.
They'll create mini-videos of their introductions including the place where they live (country/city/vegetation/population,etc). The results will be uploaded to the Twin Space and comment to each other.
All students will meet "virtually" via the Twin Space, forum, chat and video conference via Skype.
2) Introductions of each student related with science, talking about what do they like most of studying science.
3) Some of the experiments are presented as videos and others as photostories or power points.
4) Final evaluation: questionnaire for pupils and teachers.
